Hi GG,

I finally figured out how to get the picture back up! That only took a couple of months!

I agree, it will be nice to see everyone again. As you said: "John will always be in our hearts." How very true.

Hello fellow John fans!

Our own personal holiday approaches. I will be in Kentucky for my annual trip to celebrate John, through it will be bittersweet.

I hope to meet some of you there. I was the lucky soul who purchased his last moneigh offered on Ebay in December. I apologize for not getting in touch with some of you sooner, but being self-employed keeps me wearing 12 hats... Thank you for keeping this blog going. It is nice to "know" folks who understand. My ex-husband and current boyfriend (of many years) never/still got/get it.

Hi Diana,

Thank you for stopping by John Henry's blog site. Hopefully you can meet with the John Henry Group during your visit to the Kentucky Horsepark.

I will be in the area from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon.

Please stop by John's blog again!

Thanks!

Hi Diana,
I'm one of "those people" who contacted you regarding John's Moneigh. I live in Burbank but will be at the bittersweet celebration for John~John. Cathy Roby, Robin and Dr. John know me, and, hopefully, one of them will point you out! We should wear name tags!! :-)

Please join us for dinner Saturday and/or Sunday night. Location is undetermined but we welcome newcomers to "The John Henry Group". Anyone who loved the Legendary John Henry is a classy person!! And, I'd love to hear your "love story" about our little guy...

See you soon!

I've got John's birthday on my calendar and, although I won't be in Kentucky for his birthday, I will be there in April and will pay my respects then. Sure do miss the old man.

Diana from L.A.,
We arrive in Lexington Friday evening and leave Monday early afternoon.

You must be flying out of LAX; we fly out of Burbank.

When you are at the Hall of Champions just look for a woman with medium length blond hair. I'm about 5'7" and I will be bundled up because I am not used to the cold!! :-)

Dinner Saturday night is at 7:00 and "early" dinner Sunday is 4:00, so people who live out of state and drove into Lexington can drive back that evening. Details provided when we see you.

Have a safe flight...

Dear John~John,
Today marks the 5th month that you entered your celestial paddock. I'm sure you love running in God's green pastures.

Tomorrow would have been your 33rd birthday, so to honor your memory, I have traveled from Burbank, CA, to Lexington. I sit in a hotel room just minutes away from the Kentucky Horse Park.

Therefore, tomorrow I will observe your birthday and your legacy, along with many other John Henry fans, by attending your memorial celebration at the KHP.

John Henry, this our way of letting the world know that you are NOT forgotten and NEVER WILL BE!!!

We may go about living our lives, but your are ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS......

Love and Kisses XO,
Judy G

Wish I could have been at John's Birthday Memorial today. I will certainly miss seeing John Henry the next time I go to the Horse Park. It won't be the same. I hope he is celebrating in Heaven with the other "biggies" like Forego, Kelso, Secretariat, Ruffian, Barbaro, Man o War,....at least he's in good company. God Bless you John Henry, and Happy Birthday,
Cynci

Dear John Henry,
I cannot believe you left us 6 months ago this evening.

It never gets old saying you are still in my heart and never far from my thoughts!

I miss you, but I know you are TOTALLY enjoying your "new life" in your heavenly paddock.

I hug and kiss to you and my husband, John! I'm sure he is enjoying you as much as I did here on earth.
XO Love, Judy G (Burbank, CA)
